BEAR CREEK COMMUNITY CHURCH

• God the Father loves kids – and so do we! Every child is a precious gift, entrusted to parents and the Church to raise up in the nurture, love and understanding of the Lord Jesus. We want to do all we can to ensure that happens. 

Sunday School & Bible Study . . . for children, infants through youth, are offered simultaneous with the last hour of the Sunday morning worship service. The WordAction Bible curriculum used (http://www.wordaction.com/) is exceptional in its scope, sequence, interest and presentation. Dedicated teachers teach classes for all levels, September through June. During the summer these regular teachers take a break and eager volunteers take over instruction of two large group class formats.

• Nursery care is provided for babies and toddlers each Sunday morning.

 5-Day Clubs . . . are held each summer in backyards near by the church, as well as one at the church. These are led daily, Monday through Friday at the same time, by trained children’s missionaries from Child Evangelism Fellowship (www.cefbc.com). The are absolutely great for kids! Summer Camps . . . The Evangelical Missionary Church in Canada owns and operates an excellent camping facility in B.C. called Camp Charis which is located just east of Chilliwack at Rosedale, B.C. Week-long camps are held all summer for youth, boys and girls and families. However, we warn you, you must register your children early to be assured a place! TaeKwonDo . . . is ministry is in partnership with Youth for Christ, led by Mr. Lister: It is TaeKwonDo -- with a Christian emphasis. This is for all ages, children through adults. The mission is “to create character, community and citizens.” There are currently six class times during the week between 4:00 and 6:00 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
