Services
WORSHIP
. . . provides opportunities to touch heaven and be touched by God.
Every individual has been created with a God-shaped hole deep inside that
only God can fill. Inspiring, lively music and worship, accompanied by
engaging biblical preaching, special features, meaningful rituals, and
heartfelt prayer enable participants to regularly come into the presence of
God. Several gifted worship teams take turns in leading each Sunday,
regularly guiding worshippers into the presence of God to be touched by Him.
When
one thinks of worship like a stage production, we understand that the
worship team are the prompters, the congregation
are the actors and God is the audience.
When we come to worship, we do not come to be entertained and act as critics
of those up front! Rather, we come to worship with our whole being and God
is the one who judges the quality of our worship. Our desire is that each
Sunday God would be pleased and blessed by what we offer up to Him!
-
Let
your hungry heart experience this on Sunday mornings, from 10:00 a.m. to
11:30 a.m. as the English-speaking congregation comes together to
worship.
-
The
Punjabi Christian Centre gathers to worship in the downstairs chapel Sunday mornings, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This service is conducted
primarily in the Punjabi language.
-
A
friendly time of visiting over coffee or juice follows the worship
services at approximately 11:30 a.m. This is a great time to get acquainted
with worshippers from both congregations.
MESSAGE
. . . we believe a person can find joy and meaning in life, and a right
relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It’s really true! The
messages each Sunday, whether by one of our pastors or an occasional guest,
always seek to communicate this positive, uplifting message. Let God’s Word,
the Bible – His love letter to us, speak to the realities of your life and
its challenges. Most messages are made available for listening to on our
website at:
http://bearcreekcc.org/audio.htm
SEASONAL SPECIALS
. . . A variety of seasonal services or events are held in the course of
each year. Some of these include:
-
In
the past "Christmas" Pudding was an annual "sold out" dessert/drama
presentation. This is still done from time to time. Stay tuned for more
information and future dates for this event.
-
Christmas Eve
– a candlelight service including communion on the eve of the celebration of
Christ’s birth, held at 6:30 pm.
-
Good
Friday
– a 10:00 a.m. service, unique every year, remembering the suffering and
death of our Lord Jesus Christ, and commemorated with the Lord’s Supper
celebration.
-
Easter Celebration & Baptism Service
– which usually includes a good group of baptismal candidates who are ready
to publicly take their stand for Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
-
Christmas Banquet, Valentine’s Banquet, Spring or Fall Baptisms, Summer
BBQ/Picnics in our Church Park, Fall Ministry Fair
. . .
these are just some of the other extra special events that are held in the
course of the year.
Join us each week for something “special”!!

rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
